Workshop Description

In this information and experience packed workshop you’ll not only learn how to use strobe lights, you learn how to photograph a person. You’ll explore how YOU are best at photographing people. This workshop covers all the basic technical aspects of strobe lighting, but also focuses on aesthetic, experimental, experiential creation of portrait art.

“Technique is important only insofar as  you must master it in order to communicate what you see…
In any case, people think far too much about technique and not enough about seeing.”
   Henri Cartier-Bresson

What this workshop is not going to do or be: Its not a fashion photography workshop, its not a speedlight/strobist workshop, its not a wedding photography workshop, its not a how-to on posing subjects, its not hyper technical and its not a software training course.
