Essential Black and White: Death Valley National Park

Hi Gang,

In today’s post, the final from the Death Valley series, I share a collection of black and white images from Badwater Basin to Furnace Creek to Panamint Dunes to Alabama Hills.  There are no stories of ruining famous photographers’ compositions, no information about geology of the park.  Nothing.  Just simple black and white images.

Aww— :( I like your stories.

They are all super good, Alec. I like them all! But I think my favorites are 1, 4, 7, and 10. Do you have 2 in color? That one makes me wonder what it would look like in color.

Ha! I think that’s a pretty close alignment with my favorites. Perhaps I’ll post 2 in color. Thanks for stopping by, Ceej!

Ya, I know it wouldn’t go with the series being in color, but the reason I think about it is that is has so many elements in it that I know are different colors yet they’re similar values so I’m wondering if the colors would differentiate them more.
