    Hi Amy,

Thank you so much for the comment and I’ll use the opportunity to discuss about some other points. I recently gave a talk to a club in White Bear Lake!!! about finding one’s voice in photography. For me, that voice is intimacy. Whether its a landscape or portrait project is irrelevant. My voice is about finding that point of intimacy with the subject. I don’t hit a home run, let alone a single, every time at bat on this, but its always a part of my thinking. My eye. My positioning. My engagement. See today’s post of Avon Glen. Same approach. I’m ALLOWING it to become a stronger element of my voice, but its an evolutionary process and I can’t wait to push the idea even further. In the case of landscapes on the north shore, I’ll probably need chest waders to push it further!

Thanks again for the wonderfully generous comment.

    Sincerely,
    alec
