Duluth Beach using the Vari-ND filter

Last night I began my month long journey of photography along the north shore of Lake Superior. Prior to leaving St. Paul I checked the “Duluth Cam” on the internet and saw that strong easterly breezes were coming right into the harbor. I met my new landlord, Lavonne, along the beach and shot for several hours in high surf conditions and it was fabulous. Kaya ran up and down the beach chasing gulls and a number of strangers came along for a chat, all awaiting the full, blue moon rise.

I have no idea what to title this image. So, feel free to supply one and I’ll choose my favorite from those that do and give away a print of the shot.

    Ok this sucks. (my brain – not the pic)
    I should have never asked what the previous title was…
    Now I can’t quit seeing “legs” on the stick.

    I suggested ‘Let me show you how I love !!’

    But ‘Decapitation of Gumby’ made me spit Ginger Ale out my right nostril !!
